Grandstream Announces Beta Test of a New E1/T1/J1 Digital VoIP Gateway

Boston, MA, USA (December 11, 2018) – Grandstream, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning SIP unified communication solutions, is releasing a new E1/T1/J1 digital VoIP gateway for testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. Grandstream will be accepting applications for the beta test of this new digital VoIP gateway until December 18, 2018. To apply go to betaclub.grandstream.com.

For this new beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers experienced with E1/T1/J1 digital VoIP gateways and those who like to dig in and experiment with new products. Ideal applicants are those who have prior experience with VoIP networks, E1/T1/J1 lines and traditional PBXs.

This new beta test features an E1/T1/J1 digital VoIP gateway that allows medium and large enterprises to integrate digital PSTN and ISDN trunks with VoIP networks. It includes 1 software-configurable E1/T1/J1 port, offers up to 30 concurrent calls, supports PRI, SS7 and MFC R2 digital signaling protocols and nearly all the popular voice codecs including Opus, G.722, G.711, G.729, G.723, iLBC, G.726, GSM-FR, etc. This digital VoIP gateway also includes dual Gigabit network ports with a configurable integrated NAT router, two USB 3.0 ports, and one SD card interface. When officially released in early 2019, two additional models will be offered that include 2 or 4 T1/E1/J1 spans and support 60 or 120 concurrent calls.

25 units of this E1/T1/J1 digital VoIP gateway will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by late December 2018. If selected for this Beta Club opportunity, participants will receive one digital VoIP gateway. Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is FREE. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate in a beta test will be $1 to cover handling, however the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each selected beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
