Firmware Updates

Firmware for all Grandstream products are improved and updated on a regular basis.  Please check for the latest upgrade for your product or sign up to receive newsletter for new/beta firmware releases.
Grandstream recommends using HTTP protocol for firmware upgrades. Please note we have switched our public firmware upgrade server to use HTTP.

**Firmware versions greater than 1.1.6.16 do not have the router feature.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Firmware upgrades for all product models, please use HTTP server 72.172.83.110

WARNING

Firmware upgrades may take up to 10 minutes for older firmware versions, depending on the product model and firmware version. Please wait until the upgrade is completely done before a power reboot to prevent irrecoverable damage to devices.

Before upgrading your device, please verify with your service provider that a firmware change will not affect your service.


End-Of-Life Products
These following products are announced as end-of-life and no new firmware updates are planned:
BT101, BT102, HT386, HT488, HT496.
